Al Wajbah

Gadebrook Stud is privileged to have acquired from Umm Qarn the stunning bay daughter of Sambist, Al Wajbah, out of the Banat daughter, Siena, from top Polish racing lines.

Her colt, Al Arim, has already won three races in his first season. A daughter Nabigah has also won and been placed many times, as has Nagam, thus earning Al Wajbah her AHS Premium Mare status.

Now a third racing filly, Aadilah, by Concord has won in the Middle East, and another daughter Gaida, by Amer, is waiting to go into training.

Al Wajbah is scanned in foal to race winner and endurance champion Chatamz, an AHS Premium stallion, for a 2010 foal.

This is a breeding that was meant to be - Al Wajbah's sire Sambist beat Chatanz's dam Chatelaine by a length in the 2003 UK long-distance championship at Goodwood over 2 miles 7 furlongs.

However the subsequent planned mating between these two world-class race horses did not take place at that time. So now their offspring should carry these precious genes forward.
