Bay mare (born 2004) by Crystal Magic out of British National Champion Kumasha.

Strong bay Kalish is the first offspring of Crystal Magic who was also bred at Gadebrook.

She has all his energy, speed and powerful movement, combined with the affectionate nature and elegance of her dam, the lovely Kumasha who, in her day, was a triple National Champion Ridden Mare: at the AHS Show at Malvern; at the UK International and at the Horse of the Year Show.

Kalish produced a striking bay colt to our Premium stallion Sambist in April 2008 named Hussam - the fourth generation of Gadebrook breeding.

Kalish was backed in summer 2007 and went well under saddle. She will resume a ridden career in 2009, first in dressage with Kit Rolfe, then hopefully in endurance. Meanwhile Kit's helper, Jodie, is introducing Kalish to jumping which she enjoys.
     

Brrrr! Whatever the weather, Davina schools Kalish ready for her career in endurance.

Kalish has now gone on loan to junior rider Caroline Hawes to start Novice endurance in 2012.
