Gadebrook Stud was delighted to acquire the outstanding
colt Binley Prince Salim as a foal from Caroline Sussex. He is by Binley's
illustrious Prince Sadik (now deceased) out of the classic Silvern Image,
both AHS Premium horses, so of the highest quality Crabbet bloodlines.
He is SCID clear.
After early backing with Ben Martin who took Salim's full brother Ikoni
to Ridden National Championships, and dressage training with Emma Thomas
who gained 1st place with a score of 65.7% with him his very first affiliated
BD test as a 4-year old, Salim is powering through affiliated EGB endurance
rides with Grade 1s and has qualified for FEI* International competition
in 2013 with national team rider Susan Hawes (below).
Susan also won the Novice Ridden class on him at South East Arab Show
on 28 April.

of Champions on Dubai day in September at Newbury race course -
on the wettest day of the year - and enjoyed his gallop down the
course. The parade was broadcast live to 50 million viewers in the
Middle East.
Salim competed for the first time in the AHS annual Performance
Horse Awards in 2012 and came an impressive 4th out of 36 entries
with 522 points. He will receive his Award from the AHS President
at the Arab Championships in July. So far in 2013, he has 260 PHA
points from dressage, endurance and ridden showing.

Second ride of the season - Salim earns 4th place
and FEI* status after 80 kms race in total blizzard at the King's
Forest Ride in March 2013, fully clipped out after winter dressage
season. Reported with photos in Horse and Hound, this was the only
outdoor equestrian event to take place on this day due to deep snow.

Salim and Susan should go far, combining her skill and experience
with his energy and athleticism. We wish them every success.
Salim gained a Grade 1 in his first-ever 40-mile Open Endurance
Ride in Windsor Great Park in July 2011 in 4 hours 43 minutes
with an excellent pulse rate of 45prm at the end. Well done
to trainer and rider Susan Hawes. In 2012 his success in 50
mile rides earned him FEI* status, allowing him to compete
internationally in 2013.
Salim's stud career has got off to a good start. His first
pure Crabbet foal from PHA Silver Heart was born in 2009,
named Silver Sunbeam.

breeds with a score of 65%+ earning him five British Dressage
points.
Binley Prince Salim has impressed overseas visitors with
his style, movement and beauty and captured the hearts of
the camera crew who filmed him for the new channel "All
4 Horses" launched at the Horse of the Year Show.
