  Gadebrook Stud co-sponsors the 3ml 2f mega-race - the longest Flat race in Europe - for pure-bred Arabs at Nottingham race course on 20 August 2011 in honour of our Sambist, twice winner when the race was last run in 1993 and 1994 at Goodwood. Sambist features on the front cover of the race card

  Young horses go into ridden work with Davina Godwin, owner-rider of the Horse of the Year Show reserve ridden champion Arab mare. She starts with six-year old pure Crabbet mare Rhapsody in Blue and four-year old Remynisce, son of WAHO-winning American endurance champion, Remington Steele  
       
  Sambist's yearling fillies, Kalista and Samska and grand-daughter Wahiba retained at Gadebrook for future racing and endurance  
       
  Arab stallion Binley Prince Salim, having won in affiliated British Dressage with Emma Thomas as a 4-year old, has now sailed through Novice and Open level endurance with Susan Hawes and starts 2012 at Advanced level. He was selected to represent England at the Home International in Wales in October 2011. Salim starred in the AHS Premium Scheme's 21st Anniversary Parade at Malvern 2011. His grey 100% Crabbet filly Silver Sunbeam (2009) is retained at Gadebrook
 
       
  Gadebrook-bred Magic Domino now in the States wins the American Sport Horse Sire of the Year (at the age of 22) above all breeds - and makes the front cover of the Crabbet Journal - and stars in his own biography  
       
       
  50 Remington Steele*++ offspring competing successfully in the endurance world this year; one daughter third in Tevis. Frozen semen available from Gadebrook  
       
  Gadebrook's Rem daughter in the States, 11 Steela Luv Song, owned jointly with Patti Bailey, produced filly to Sambist endurance son, 11 Damb Much, and in foal to him again

  Palma Benay - bay pure Crabbet mare, imported from Australia, produced an exquisite deep liver chestnut filly, Palmyra, to pure Crabbet stallion Klinta Sultan. Palma's striking bay colt Kaalif by Silver Zaanif, the first bay 100% Crabbet born in the UK for 16 years, is now a yearling  
       
  Jazmyn chestnut AHS Premium mare produced a cracking chestnut colt, Tango, by Sambist and is in foal to Sambist again for 2012. Tango (Sambist x Jasmyn) now sold to wonderful new home with Tami Ward. A 2-yr old full brother, Sakr, achieved First Higher Premium grading at the BEF inspection in 2010
