The Boomerang Plan with imported Australian mares progresses: Palma Benay produced a bay colt foal Dandini on 4th May 2014 and Pevensey Zariffia foaled a long (white)-legged chestnut filly Mazaria on 7th May, both pure Crabbet by Marbon Masadi.

 

 
       
  Crabbet stallion Binley Prince Salim (2005) wins Overall 2013 AHS Performance Horse Awards and also the AHS Premium Breeders Award for successes in affiliated British Dressage (with Emma Thomas) and Endurance to FEI** level and Ridden Showing (with Susan Hawes). Pure Crabbet yearling colt Bismillah gained a First Premium at the BEF Futurity Evaluations, Endurance section in July 2014 at Arena UK with a faultless performance - to view photos click HERE. He won the Junior Male Championship and Reserve Pure Crabbet Championship at the Crabbet show at Equifest in August 2014

 
       
 

Sambist and Salim feature on new AHS Premium Performance Scheme banners displayed at the Arab National Championships, and other major equestrian events, and they both feature on the 2014 AHS Premium Performance Scheme calendar.   AlKass TV crew from the Middle East spent two days filming at Gadebrook for an hour long program on Arabians in England.

  Brightstar (Bright Cavalier x Nishtar), now owned by Ros Jones, completed the Man v Horse Race in mid-Wales (for photo click HERE). Half-sister Bright Dawn (Bright Cavalier x Zaharina) moves up from Novice to Open Endurance, and Kalish aimed at FEI* in 2015. Kalish comes third in 50-mile Class of British National Endurance Championships 2013 at first attempt  
       
  Gadebrook Stud hosted an Open Day and lunch for 50 Crabbet Convention visitors in July 2013. For brochure click HERE  
       
  Five Gadebrook horses paraded at the 2013 World Crabbet : Salim (who led the parade with full brothers Ikoni and Silvern Prince), Pevensey Zariffia, Kaalif and half-sister Palmyra (all pure Crabbet), and endurance mare, Kalish, 87% Crabbet - in Bedouin regalia! Many more Gadebrook-bred horses also paraded. Reports appear in The Arabian Magazine, the Crabbet Journal and the AHS Year Book  
       
  One of world's leading equine geneticists, Prof Doug Antczak from Cornell University, USA, visited Gadebrook. Gadebrook provided genetic samples to Cornell, to help the Equine Genome project. Senior stallion Sambist is world's first Arab to have entire genome mapped.  
       
  Losses - devastating news from the USA that Magic Domino (1988), former American National Sport Horse Sire Champion, has died, still in his prime.
Our beloved brood mare Jazmyn put down at Christmas 2012 after weaning her last Sambist colt, Samba B (2012). He is now sold entire to performance and stud home in Northumberland. Samba B wins top yearling spot and Higher first Premium in 2013 BEF Futurity Evaluations
 
       
  Anne supports the AHS Premium Performance Scheme with Premium mares, GAS Pepelka, Al Wajbah and Kalish. Anne organised an AHS Premium Performance Scheme Parade of Premium horses and progeny - including Binley Prince Salim - for ARO at Newbury race course on Dubai Race Day, in September 2012. The parade, and gallop down the course, was broadcast live to 50 million viewers in the Middle East. For details go to the AHS Premium website

AHS 2012 national Performance Horse Awards success - stallion Binley Prince Salim 4th overall ridden by Susan Hawes (FEI* endurance) and Emma Thomas (with 29 affiliated British Dressage points); mare Kalish 4th Junior with Caroline Hawes (endurance) - both at first attempt. Congratulations to riders!

  Congratulations to Silver Sunbeam's sister Silvern Moonlight on winning European Ridden championship and many other titles in 2012  
       
  We took four 2-yr olds to the 2012 BEF Futurity evaluations (Endurance section) - Crabbet colt Kaalif took top score of the day with a Higher First Premium and top two year old title. Fillies Samska, Kallista and Wahiba all earned First Premiums with Samska gaining second highest score of the day.
